Resiliency is the ability of youth to overcome obstacles and risk factors in their environment to meet the social demands of adolescence and to build the competencies necessary for success as adults. Resilient adolescents/youths have usually benefited from supportive relationships and positive experiential opportunities that enable them to move successfully in life and in many cases; the factors that make adolescents resilient enable them to be successful even when the odds are stacked against them as a result of risk factors in their environment.

This project seeks to provide opportunities for individuals to enhance their knowledge, interests, skills, and creative abilities which is achieved through the following activities:
1.     Character development, Career choice, vocational skill and ethical enrichment programs for Secondary school students
2.     Creativity and Innovation programs for both Secondary and Tertiary students
3.     Scholarship support program for most vulnerable secondary school students
4.     Mentoring activities, including one-to-one relationship building and tutoring.


My Health, My Wealth

Young people and women face many health challenges related to both behavior and development. The health challenges of young people are developed during adolescence and often continue into adulthood and influence long-term health and risk for chronic disease. This project seeks to educate and provide opportunities for young people and women from all diversities, creating conditions where they develop skills and habits that lead to long-term good health. This is achieved through;

1.     Advocacy for young people access to good health care services through re-addressing health polices influencing young people and proper implementation.
2.     Organizing trainings for health care practitioners and stakeholders on behavioral approach towards young people especially females.
3.     Creating awareness in schools and communities through sexual health programs; nutrition and intake of toxic substances
4.     Community Sensitization and awareness program on the reality of COVID-19, preventive measures in order to counter the spread.
5.     Exposing young people to a developed and proper way of living in and outside the communities.
6.     Free STDs/STIs, Malaria testing and advancement into counselling and distribution of drugs and mosquito nets in rural and urban areas.


Voice “N” Lead

Young girls and women are vacillated between the two categories of been ‘infantilizing’ and ‘demonizing’ i.e. girls are viewed as vulnerable, powerless and in need of protection. The positioning of girls in society has a bearing on their leadership potential and their role in sustainable development. Hence, this project seeks to address the tension that lies in the palpable violence against girls and women, their desire to strive for more, their willingness to be seen as responsible and capable, and training them to become change agents in their communities to healing broken parts of the society which will be achieved through:

1.    Organizing sensitization trainings for young girls in regards to reproductive health and rights.
2.    Community activism to shift harmful gender attitudes, roles and social norms as effective approaches to reduce violence against women, girls and children at the community level.
3.     Advocacy towards re-addressing and implementation of policies that governs the rights of girls and women and their inclusion in civic roles.
4
. Organizing programs to encourage civic participation of girls and women.


Rule Your World

A youth empowered society will not seriously suffer from the problem of unemployment that many nations are battling with in the current time. A skillful youth is a job creator. Empowerment ensures that youth has the necessary skill to sustain a livelihood, preventing them from adopting the path of crime. This project aims at promoting and supporting entrepreneurship among young people and women through cooperation with entrepreneurs, provide information about resources, advice and training which will position them to successfully engage with systems and institutions that help them to realize their dreams and goals, while meeting their needs and living meaningful lives. This is achieved through the following activities:

1.     Providing vocational skills for out of school secondary students and both in and out of school Tertiary institution students, which meets with established market demands.
2.    
Financial and resource support for start-ups businesses and adequate monitoring for effective results.
